American Football Real is built for short sessions. There is no season and no playbook to study: you get the ball, the field in front of you and eleven defenders who want you on the ground. Cut around the first tackler, spin past the second and sprint for the end zone. Each touchdown makes the next defense a little quicker.

It is closer to a runner than to a simulation, and that is the appeal. Reaction time and a good read of the pursuit angles are what carry you, and a clean run to the end zone looks and feels like a highlight.

How to Play American Football Real

2. Move the ball carrier toward the gaps between defenders.
3. Use the dodge move to get past a tackler who has the angle on you.
4. Reach the end zone to score and start the next, harder drive.

Tips and Tricks

• Run at the defender's inside shoulder and cut outside at the last moment; the pursuit is built to over-run you.
• Save the dodge for a defender who is already committed. Used early it just wastes a step.
• The sideline is a defender too. Stay a few yards in from it so you always have two ways to go.
• Speed builds as you run straight; every cut costs some of it, so cut only when you have to.
