About Flappy Bird

Flappy Bird has one rule. Tap and the bird flaps up; do nothing and it falls. Pipes come from the right with a gap in each, and you thread the bird through. Hit a pipe or the ground and it is over. Dong Nguyen released it in 2013 and it became the most downloaded game in the world for a few months in 2014 before he pulled it from the stores.

This is a browser recreation with the same gap, the same physics and the same medals at 10, 20, 30 and 40 points.

How to Play Flappy Bird

Press Play or tap to start.
Tap to flap and keep the bird in the air.
Pass through the gap in each pair of pipes for one point.
Do not touch anything.

Tips and Tricks

Tap in a steady rhythm rather than reacting to each pipe.
Aim for the bottom half of the gap; a flap from there lifts you into the middle.
Do not look at the bird. Look at the next gap.
Stop after a bad run. It does not get better when you are annoyed.
