About BasketBros

BasketBros is one-on-one basketball with the speed turned up. Each baller has a rating for shooting, hops, speed and defense, the court is a single hoop, and a game is a race to a set score. You jump to shoot, jump to block, and the fakes and timing decide who wins. Blue Wizard Digital built it for two people at one keyboard, and that is where it is best, but the computer opponent is a real test on the higher settings.

Unlock more ballers by winning, and pick one to match how you play: a shooter for the outside game, a tall one for blocks and dunks.

How to Play BasketBros

1. Choose a baller and a mode: one player against the computer or two players on one keyboard.
2. Move around the court, jump to shoot and release at the top of the jump.
3. On defense, jump into the shooter's path to block, or steal when he dribbles.
4. Reach the target score first to win.

Controls

• Player 1: WASD to move and jump, a key shown on the title screen to shoot and block.
• Player 2: Arrow keys to move and jump, with its own shoot key.
• Touch: on-screen buttons.

Tips and Tricks

• Release the shot at the top of the jump; early or late releases miss more.
• Drive to the hoop against a slow baller, shoot from outside against a tall one.
• Do not jump for every shot fake. A defender in the air is a free basket.
• Rebounds win close games. Move under the hoop as soon as a shot goes up.
